Quality!
Brilliant player this. Was a bit perturbed I had to put it together myself (as I’ve never had to do this before) but was fairly straightforward with the instructions. Amazing player tho. Really loud, and I’ve yet to even take volume halfway (outta respect for my neighbours 😂). Really good sound. Great quality and value for money 👌🏻

This is it…
This is the system for you if you’re looking to relive the days of enjoying listening to your favorite vinyls whilst reading the record sleeve texts and enjoying the art works. I started my collection a few days ago, now up to 8 Albums that I remember from the 80s/90s, I originally bought one of the cheaper £40 record players with the built in speakers, it was ok, but wasn’t anything special, but this one has depth, range and I’ve not even turned it up past half way yet, it’s got really nice room filling audio without being too tinny or over bassy, it’s just right for that chilling out level of enjoyment, I bet it would be great at higher volumes too for a party occasion but as mentioned, I’m not cranking it up that high until needed. The construction side of it was a worry to me at first but after watching the how to video here on the product page and following the set up manual I was lay here listening and wrong this review within about 20 mins of unboxing. Overall, very happy and pleased with this product, will be sure to enjoy it for years to come.

Record player
The media could not be loaded. I searched for a budget record player (not a suitcase) for months and watched many YouTube videos and read many reviews before purchasing. The sound and build quality is really good. There is a good amount of bass without it being too much or too little. Really easy to use once set up. Volume goes quite high and doesn’t alter the quality. Tested the Bluetooth once and it works no issues at all. All in all I would definitely recommend as it’s amazing value for money and I don’t actually have anything negative to say about it

update - Just as good as a lower end Teac, Lenco & Audio Technica
***Update*** 20/3/2019Had the turntable now for a month or so. In the end attached my old Cambridge Audio separate to it and sounds fine. There is only one issue which I think one of the other reviewers touched on. That is the auto switch off feature. Its not a stand by. This happens after a 5 mins when the turntable has not been used. You have to manual switch turntable back on. In the grand scheme of things its not major.I have experienced the 30 sec stand by feature which is plain odd.For these two things I have knocked a star off. Im the end for the price its still good.So looking at a new turntable to replace the old 1 by One. I had no intention to buy another 1 by One, not because it was a poor choice. Just wanted one an upgrade as it was a cheap purchase option at the time. So looking for an upgrade with a magnetic cartridge, at a reasonable value. Checked out Lenco's, Teac, AudioTechnic and others. Values range from £70 to £250. All had mixed reviews, a minefield. Then I found 1 by One now did a turntable with Audio Technic stylus / arm plus you got two speakers chucked in for £159.00. So I took a punt.So whats the outcome:It came well packaged. All aspects of the turntable well protected but this does mean you have to set up the Counter Weight, Anti-Skid function and belt for the drive. The construction of the turntable all felt very nice not a cheap feel. Even the lid has some weight to it and a heavy metal platter. The instructions are good perhaps not idiot proof. The one issue was the anti-skid weight which is very fiddly in the end it took two of use to tighten the knot up. Oh and you have to move the arm from its cup for it to work (Not idiot proof instructions). So all set. Its not automatic drive, you press a play button. It also has a lovely slow descending stylus action onto the vinyl after the lever is released. At the moment I have it aux into a GPO speaker until a new unit arrives to place speakers on (The GPO has bass / treble controls). When I connect the speakers up the pre-amp built into the turntable will power them. There is no way to control treble or bass EQ etc. Having said all that the GPO is adequate with nice bass and treble but if you push the GPO it distorts. Which I already knew and has nothing to do with the turntable. So the Sound you certainly can tell the difference with Audio Technic Stylus. Even through the GPO its a vast improvement from the previous 1 by One wooden plinth turntable in sound, build and quality. So is it worth the price and any good? Well I got it for £159. Im no Audiophile but I like a good sound. I am also a musician. This a good turntable. Perhaps 1 by One has gone to all the manufacturers of named turntables given them a shopping list. In essence a parts turntable. If Lenco, Teac or Audiophile was stamped on the lid, this would have hi-fi reviews rated from 4 to 5 stars in its price band. Of course they would probably knock it down as it has a bluetooth function which is no no in Audiophile world. Its good, for the price band excellent. Improvement? I suggest 1 by One do go and find a Hi-Fi amp manfacture and design a simple mini amp with bass / treble / balance surrounded by a wood casing. Sell it as a package. For the buyer: remember you have to set it up. You may need an amp to push the sound when the speakers are connected (If possible cannot see why not it has phono output), as your currently relying on the pre-amp built into the turntable.Plus points: it has a choice of aux or speaker output, industry standard magnetic stylus, bluetooth, transfer vinyl, well constructed, looks good. You can change from 33 to 44 without changing belt position.

Great for the money
Love this player and the sound of my vinyl is very good and looks great too - was a little difficult setting up the arm balance I thought.

Good for a day or two unfortunately
The media could not be loaded. I initially bought a JAM Sound all in one record player and was most disappointed when my BMTH AMO Album skipped so much that it was unlistenable. This turntable plays the album absolutely flawlessly and sounds fantastic to boot. Setup was super easy taking 5-10 minutes using the supplied instructions and looks great sat on my side unit.HOWEVER the experience quiackly took a turn for the worse with every record experiencing distortion and becoming unlistenable. After some investigation the cartridge was out of alignment and due to the design of the arm it seems near impossible to realign, even using a better protractor purchased seperately. I suspect the belt was also of poor quality and stretched unfathomably quickly. There are some redeeming qualities of this setup like the actual build quality and the sound quality was good but alas it really is as bad as others say.

Excellent value very pleased
I bought this record player for my husband for Christmas as he had been looking and pondering about getting one. I do believe you get what you pay for and this well worth the money paid. My husband is over the moon with it and it is excellent quality!
