Effective and Gentle Relief
I've used the Amazon Basic Care Stool Softener with Docusate Sodium 100 mg multiple times, and it consistently delivers. It's gentle on the stomach, works overnight without cramping, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The 100-count bottle is a great value and lasts a long time. A reliable product to keep on hand—highly recommend for anyone who occasionally needs help staying regular.

Compare to Colace
Works the same as COLACE at an unbelievable affordable price. Main ingredient is the same. Very gentle and so easy to take before bedtime. No powder to mix . Easy to swallow pill.

Works as good as the brand
Just as effective as the brand at a fraction of the cost. I saw no difference in the quality. Looks identical in size. Easy to swallow.

It works and it's smooth
The first day I I took this medicine I only took one pill. I realized that I needed a stronger dose because it didn't give me the results I needed. The following day I took 2 before bed. I woke up with a stomach ache. It was not the gut hurling kind, but just a mild one similar to the kind I get when my stomach is too full from being greedy. It's a gentle stool softener. I like that it cleaned my system without giving me the runs. I have had other brands that had me in the bathroom praying. This was not like that at all. It is small, easy to swallow and no bad taste. Took about 8 hrs for it to work on me

Healthier diet & fluid intake matter too!
I've been using these for years. I take 1 cap with my a.m. med's & 1 at bedtime. This isn't meant to be a laxative but a stool softener.Taking MORE pills than recommended is NOT a good idea. A LOT depends on your daily fluid intake, activity levels & your DIET!I'm 73 & a disabled Type II insulin dependent Diabetic - so NO "fast food" garbage for me.If you eat a reasonably healthy diet this product will definitely help keep you regular & comfortable in the process - but for best results try to keep to a healthier diet & pay attention to your daily fluid intake.

I didn’t really understand if these pills helped me or not.
I’m not sure, but I don’t think these pills helped me. I was constipated — for several weeks, it was difficult for me to have a proper bowel movement. I was going to the bathroom, but it felt like not everything was coming out — like something was stuck. I bought these pills hoping they would fix the problem. On Monday evening, I took two. On Tuesday during the day, I took three. But nothing happened after that — I didn’t go to the bathroom. So on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, I decided to start eating dried apricots and prunes regularly, because I read online that they are good natural remedies for constipation. On Wednesday evening, I was finally able to go, and again on Thursday. I’m not sure what exactly helped — the prunes, the apricots, or the pills. It’s hard to say, but the pills didn’t seem to have any noticeable effect. And I still feel like the issue isn’t fully resolved. I’ve been continuing to eat dried apricots and prunes actively for the past five days.
