EXCELLENT 43-INCHER, ESPECIALLY AT THE LISTED PRICE AND EVEN MORESO WHEN ON SALE
One week's initial impressions:Pros: price was only $227.99 on sale which is a bargain for a 43-inch Samsung even if it is a "2024 model". Color is great out of the box, picture is great AFTER I turned the MOTION CLARITY option off (see cons below). Sound quality is excellent. Made in Mexico which I can live with (better than the usual alternative who is our main global competitor). Overall, a fine 43-incher. Cons: not all that simple to set up. I had to play with the little Samsung remote (see pic) and go thru several screens and options and streaming services offers, etc. Gripe: there is an annoying VOICE assistant you cannot get rid of on the ACCESSIBILITY menu screen where I go if I want to shut off the picture and leave audio on only. The voice is irritating and says, "ACCESSIBILITY SHORTCUTS, EIGHTEEN ITEMS, PICTURE OFF, OFF" every time I use that screen to shut the picture off and leave audio on. So I just turn the volume down first. The USER GUIDE found in the on-screen menu and the Samsung rep I sw both say you cannot shut the voice off WHEN YOU ARE USING THE ACCESIBILITY screen. Why did Samsung do this? Gripe - the TV comes with "PICTURE CLARITY" ON, but it is easily disabled in the on-screen settings menu. PICTURE CLARITY "ON" is supposed to stop motion blurring on sports or fast action scenes according to internet, but it makes some shows look unnatural like old soap operas. I googled "Samsung PICTURE CLARITY" on the net and that's what the AI responses said, and so I toggled PICTURE CLARITY "off" and now the picture is 100% GREAT. Small gripe: there is a 1/4-inch wide black border around the picture (see pic I supplied) and I thought it was a defect, but I see the same border in the Amazon pictures for this tv and for other sizes of this model, so it's normal. The Samsung rep I sw verified it is normal also. It's so minor and almost un-noticeable and I thought it was the bezel until I looked real close at the screen. CONCLUSION: great picture and sound, great looking TV with that really thin bezel, and great price. Another Samsung TV perfect for our needs. So far we have had all Samsung TVs the last 20 years and none have disappointed. And each lasted over 10 years with lots of use. Side note: I went from a business-required IPHONE to a SAMSUNG Smartphone almost 5 years ago and it has been the best phone I've had. I'm sold on Samsung.

beautiful picture no dominating software!
love this t.v., the only one that comes without intrusive, controlling software forced on you. I tried TCL, forget it, terrible picture and obnoxiously intrusive software, fire TV, which takes complete control of the TV away from you and no way around it.you don't have to register for anything on this TV it does come with Samsung software but it's actually something that is useful it's not forced on you, it doesn't wrestle control away, and doesn't force you to give up your life story before you can do even step one like the TCL did, and it has enjoyable Samsung programming that is included and the TV picture is brilliant! best picture of any TV I have owned and the menu is intuitive very easy to understand I highly recommend this TV, especially if you're sick and tired of having somebody control the device that you have in your home that you paid for then go with this one. I stream YouTube rain videos and just stare at the beauty of them on this TV.

Yes, the 75" is great. Samsung TV package and its interface is outstanding
OK - b ought so I could read the scroll and text (aging eyes). Sort of worked - TV is outstanding, eyes are worse than I thought. Positives:Contrast is excellentColor is amazingno lag on fast moving picturesstart in 4 seconds (really, and this is awesome!)ConsRemote control - but let me be clear - this is a minimum button control. no numbers, and very simple. Did not think I would like that but darn, it is great. Issue with remote is the narrow IR beam, which forces your hand to be in an uncomfortable position when changing channels, etc. Really wish it had a pivoting head so I could hold comfortably,Final analysis:Excellent in every way and would buy again (in fact, I will be buying another).

No standard audio outputs, 3/4 inch Higher than stated
TV is 3/4 inch higher than stated in its description due to a sensor assembly on its bottom right side. Made a difference to me because it replaced an old defective 65" TV built into our wall unit. Had to call a carpenter to make a cut out for it to fit.TV also has no standard audio or optical outputs to connect into my surround sound system. Instead, it has a new and not quite as usable eARC/HDMI output. Amazon has eARC to optical and eARC to coax converters and I am still waiting for one of these to arrive to make sure the TV is usable.Turn the TV on and it will start a setup routine that asks for all kinds of personal information. At one point even asked for a credit card and passwords for Apps like Netflix. Its remote control is unmarked and very hard to use. Some buttons move in 3-directions, push in, slide up-down. With no explanation of what each direction does. No written manual came with the TV.Picture quality is great and bright, far better than our old TV. The built-in speakers are located on its bottom and at 100% volume are barely loud enough to hear.

Great TV if you don't play online games. 3rd generation Samsung owner.
5/20/2025 - 3rd straight Samsung TV owner. Just received the SAMSUNG 70-Inch Class Crystal UHD 4K DU7200 Series HDR Smart TV. Tv stand legs snapped on easy. Good to know cause those are precious moments when these TVs are horizontal. From there I was at the point of watching TV as normal within 3 minutes. No lie. But I have antenna only and am a huge 1960s MeTV fan. Hence the Hogan. The SAMSUNG 70-Inch Class Crystal UHD 4K DU7200 Series HDR Smart TV has better antenna reception compared to my last Samsung and obviously better picture and size. So far I am impressed l. $470~ for a 70 in Samsung and all the specs. If you dint game, you won't find a better deal than this I feel considering the economy. My advice is to go reasonable on TV screen (screens always need replacement), but go HIGH on theater surround sound components. Ears don't lie. The Price of thia TV is a budget buy if 70 inches if screen is enough for you

Big TV doesn't have to be on a big entertainment unit!
I am a big fan of Samsung so why not a TV. I bought a 43 inch and decided it wasn't big enough so in the bedroom it went and this 55 is great for my living area. And this can fit on a smaller area. Bought a soundbar too!! I am very happy with my purchases.
