This is discrete in depth from the ceiling whilst being wide enough to produce a great spread of light. Also, with the curvature of the fitting it allows the light to be dispersed against the entire ceiling.The fan is quiet yet powerful. The guard on the fan is also great to prevent anything catching the fan. Overall this is really worth buying and definitely night and day better than the usual Chinese fodder on amazon. 5*

This Fan/Light is installed in my bedroom it was almost a straight swap (but I had to slightly enlarge the hole in the ceiling for a small connecting block) extremely pleased with the performance.One sour note the Night Light doesn't work but it is not a deal breaker, as far as we are concerned.

Its a nice looking fan when its on the ceiling. The first one we got was broken, so we got send a new one. During the installation I can tell why the first one was broken on certain places, you have to be very careful installing this as the plastic is so thin, you might end up crushing it with your hands while installing! The brightness is very good, functionality wise, well it kept the little one in her room nice and cool and she likes the nightlight stand on it. (There are little holes in the plastic that look like stars when on night mode) The remote control has excellend signal and is simple to use.

I was pretty impressed with these at first having them fitted in all rooms, that being till last night when the motor failed with on and off use of 3 months. Not worth the money there pretty cheap looking as well for the money… I was expecting better mechanical quality from Phillips…. 👎🏼

Quite ans powerful.

My home becomes unbearably hot in summer so I looked around for a fan/light to replace my ceiling light. I wasn’t sure if there was a supporting beam underneath so looked for a lightweight option and came across this one. My electrician was so impressed, he said he would recommend it to other clients. So far, very happy with it.
