I use this to pull a home made yard cart up a hill, works great.
I built a yard cart because I am tired of carrying heavy wood up a hill. Well, the cart helped but now I have to drag a heavy yard cart up a hill. Solution? This. I welded a heavy hook to the front of the yard cart, added a chain to the back of this, secured the chain around a tree, grabbed my deep cycle battery, and now my cart comes up the hill with the press of a button.I never put 3500 pounds of anything into the cart, but I definitely am not hauling cotton balls either. I have put around 800 pounds of wood into the cart, and this had zero problems dragging the cart straight up the hill over uneven terrain. It didn't strain in the least.I did leave it out in the rain accidentally once. It didn't seem to mind. It still works just fine.I forgot it had a remote until I went to review it. It definitely had one when I unpacked it, so it's definitely somewhere. I just never bother with it. It has a switch attached to it, so that's good enough for me.

works well but
Winch works great but the wiring is set up better for a truck or side x side because you need longer winch leads and shorter battery leads so you can mount the relay box in the back. I mount the relay on the back of the air filter box where it is safe so I extended the winch leads and shortened the battery leads to cure the problem. The winch I replaced was already set up that way maybe the manufacture could give a option for this , because there is no good place to mount the relay up front on a atv. Other than that it is great.

Doesn’t work
Installed this winch on my Gator and it worked fine, came back a week later to tension the cable and it just clicks. Disappointed.

Sturdy, winch works well
I mounted it on a pole to tow my boat. After getting the boat out for every fish in the sea, I have to pull a little on the beach. This has become a problem over time. this was exactly what i was looking for. I don't think much about fishing in the sea anymore. A product that does not force assembly and installation.

Not connected yet but looking forward to it
I can’t wait to install this on my ATV. I wanted something that used synthetic rope. This is a little more powerful than what I wanted but I could not turn it down. It comes with everything you need to get up and running. I really like the wireless remote. It has 50ft of synthetic rope and rope stop and shackle. You also get the waterproof solenoid and mounting bracket. It is so much lighter than metal cable in a winch. The only reason this is not up and running is because I have an older ATV so I will have some welding to do before I can mount it. Since I got one larger than expected I may have to upgrade my battery or run a second battery we will see. This is not an inexpensive winch. You can find similar winches for less. Check the features and make your own decision. For what they advertise I believe they have hit the mark. For that reason, I am giving them 5 stars. If I find out anything different after I install it, I will update this review.

Works but would recommend a snatch block
I ordered this to have as a secondary to my 13k winch in cases where I did not need the beast.I installed this on a 20ft hydraulic tilt deck.My initial test was with a 1990 Mazda Miata that rolls perfectly fine on level ground. (~2k)The winch was able to pull the car up, but it did strain after the front wheels started going up the trailer. I think this would work fine on a trailer if a snatch block was added to reduce the load.It is nice that the winch came wireless already, the downside is it has a very short range (stopped working about 17ft away for me) and it works in ~2 second pulses, it does not stop immediately after letting off the remote. The hardwire connection does stop immediately, so the delay is in the wireless box.All in all it will work for a trailer to pull a car up but recommend a snatch block and be ready for the delay, otherwise seems to work fine.Motor did get a little warm, they probably should have used slightly more gear reduction however I am using it outside the recommended use and likely would be fine in the ATV/UTV use

Good while it Lasted, 2 months, 15-20 uses
This is a mean winch. I did some modifications to my wall bracket and installed the winch inside my shop instead of on my ATV or trailer. I plan to use it to work on a few things inside my shop. I got tired of having to crank up the mower by hand. This winch works great and stresses zero while lifting the mower. I wasn't sure about the synthetic rope, but it seems pretty sturdy. I need to really read up on the winch, the book supplied with it doesn't really provide much information on it. The book mainly just speaks about each part but doesn't tell you how to assemble it. Its pretty basic but a few steps would've been handy. This winch has a remote so I can help guide while I raise it. I did notice the remote will reverse direction occasionally, unsure why, suddenly up becomes down and vice versa. If there's not some applied torque to the rope it will bunch up when spooling.UPDATE: Winch lasted all of 2 months maybe 15-20 uses. Nothing anywhere near what the winch boasts it can handle. Now it just runs but does not grab the spool. Like something has sheared off. Clearly internals are cheaply made. My doubts about synthetic ropes are valid. It’s wears and flattens too easily. I would not trust this rope underneath anything, especially attached to a faulty winch. It did not malfunction and unspool, basically just stopped spoiling all together. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

works amazing!!
This thing could literally be a lifesaver, especially back in the wood or stuck in a mud hole, if you go riding on any atv trails, or ride a lot, I would definitely get one of these, the power on this thing is unreal! This winch is straight forward & easy to install. It offers plenty of power to get the job done. The synthetic rope, supplied fairlead & remote controls make it easier to use in less than ideal situations. Be confident this winch will not leave you stuck. I would highly recommend if you ride or even are a little crazy from time too time! 10/10
