Excellent battery-powered amp but needs better Line-in socket quality
Having previously purchased the cheaper "Coolmusic Portable Acoustic Guitar Amplifier, For Performers On The Go, Built-in Bluetooth (40W Battery-Powered)" and having had to return it because of a fault, I was a little hesitant about buying the more expensive but better spec'd 'Coolmusic BP40D Rechargerable Acoustic Guitar Amplifier Electrical Guitar Amp-Keyboard Amp" I am very pleased i did because the BP40D is an excellent product. I've only used it for a few days (hence no battery life rating) but so far i'm delighted with the sound quality and the range of inputs and outputs, which you can see listed on the spec. Apart from running a condenser mic off the 48v phantom power, with another mic input for a dynamic mic, I've been playing electric guitar through the BP40D, even using a Boss Blues Driver to give a bit of grit to the guitar sound, and the amp takes the pedal well. Amongst other features is the record out to mobile phone input/output jack, using the supplied 4 band 3.5mm minijack lead - very useful for recording ideas. While the product itself I rate as excellent, especially for the money, the manual is IMHO fairly lamentable, especially over the "Power/Charging" section and "Input 1" mic section (i.e don't use phantom power on your dynamic mics!) But don't let the poor manual put you off an otherwise excellent product which is ideal for home practice, busking, use as a mini PA etc. Despite the manual I've given it 5 stars and am very pleased with this amp - thank you CoolMusic for such a useful, well thought-out product at a very good price - but you need to up your game on the manual!Further thought after several years light use: all the above stands, it has been a great purchase, but with one additional proviso - the all-important line input socket is nothing like robust enough and I now have problems with crackles from the 3.5mm jacket 'moving' in the socket. CoolMusic, you have to make the Line in socket more substantial, perhaps an XLR option even. So IMHO you need to up the quality on this essential input. Revised comment April 2025

Good value street amp
Sturdily built rechargeable street amp/monitor. Not the lightest but still really portable (with built-in carry handle) and can be floor or stand mounted. This amp is LOUD. I run my Yamaha arranger keyboard through it and it sounds remarkably good considering the size of the built-in speakers (2 x 6.5inch woofers and 2 x 2inch tweeters). Comes with 5 usable inputs (2 mic, 2 guitar and line-in) plus a USB input for backing tracks etc. Headphone and separate out to another amp also included as well as Bluetooth connectivity. Instruction manual is adequate. The rechargeable battery is built in (charger/mains adaptor included)The built-in effects (reverb, chorus, delay) and EQ's are good but there is no amp simulation (like on the Roland) and also no built in guitar tuner (pity). Conclusion: Hasn't got all the frills of the Boss/Roland street amp but costs over £100 less (at the time of writing this). Coolmusic claim total output is 40 watts so it should blow the pants off the Boss/Roland.For the price, I like this amp.

Excellent battery powered amp
I was looking for a battery powered amp which allowed me to plug in 2 electro acoustic guitars, 2 microphones and support backing tracks from my iPad, all at a sensible price. The reviews on YouTube for this amp were positive so decided to buy one. I had to wait a few weeks for it to come back into stock, but the seller messaged me when Amazon had received new stock and the amp arrived the following day.It exceeded my expectation in terms of versatility, allowing me to plug in my 6 string and 12 string guitars and set the gain for each guitar. I use a dynamic mic and found it needed a fairly high gain so purchased a Klerk Teknik microphone booster from Amazon, which has solved the problem. It also allows me to plug it a pair of Lekato wireless mics which means it’s great for practicing songs with friends. I also Bluetooth my iPad to the amp to provide backing tracks to support our worship songs.I use it when I play in our local church worship band and use the DI output straight into the mixer desk. It has more than enough volume to fill the school hall where our church meet, if necessary. The sound quality is great at this price point, but for me the versatility and the ability to support 2 guitars, 2 mics, Bluetooth and another line in, together with the DI and headphone output make it a superb amp. And it can run for many hours on its internal battery so great for busking. Totally recommend this amplifier. Well done Coolmusic.

The Coolmusic BP40D is an excellent quality rechargeable acoustic amp. It's ideal for busking or camping where access to power is limited. The device will work for up to 8 hours from a single charge and produces fantastic quality sound. It has four instrument inputs and two auxiliary inputs. The device also has independent EQ adjustment and sound effects. It's also bluetooth compatible for streaming accompanying music straight from your smartphone.Price is fair and reasonable, quality is excellent and overall value for money is very impressive.
