Organic Rolled Oats: Fresh Cold Rolled Raw Hulless Oats, Farmer Direct, non-GMO and Organic, rolled fresh, 15 lbs.

I was a little shocked about how big this bag is. I am a previous Chef and now a Health Inspector so I am not sure why I was surprised. 15 lbs is definitely a big bag of Oats. We put Oats in our smoothies every morning plus I enjoy baking with Oats but it will take some time for me to finish this bag. I made Oatmeal Cookies last night with these and they were delicious. I compared them to the organic Bobs Red Mill Oats we had on hand and they were visiblly a little darker in color which is interesting. I am loving these so far and will have to find some new ways to use Oats. It doesn't get much better than to be able to get a Farm Direct Organic Product though.

The oats arrived quickly, in a sealed plastic bag. They are very fresh, and very high quality oats that taste great. There was a hand written thank you message from Brian on the invoice...nice customer service!The thing our family loves about these oats is that they are very minimally processed and retain a lot of their nutritional value. We also highly value the fact that the farmer himself is in control of how his oats are processed, as he does it all himself. We eat the raw rolled oats daily in almond milk as muesli.

After going through the small bag order, I ordered the 15 pounder. Having it for BF almost daily. Tastes fresh and is very satisfying. 15 pounds of oats is a lot but price per pound was attractive. Wish I owned a horse :) Raw, organic and non GMO. Nice personal note and thank you included by small farm farmer. Nice to know I'm not supporting big agro. I've read that steel cut oats, unlike these rolled oats does not digest well. I soak it for 20 minutes and then microwave it.

These rolled oats are raw which means they are not steamed like the rolled oats you find in the grocery store. They take a bit longer to cook but this can be remedied by soaking them overnight. They have a much better texture as well. They retain their shape and offer a good bit of resistance which is perfect if you hate mushy oats like I do. Did I mention the flavor? These oats have a wonderful nuttiness to them and make store-bought rolled oats taste like cardboard in comparison. They're more cost effective too which is important if you're an oatmeal addict like me.

These taste fine but they haven’t been steamed or rolled much at all so they are quite chewy. They work well when I blendetize them into flour. Flavor is good.We found if we boil up enough for the week and store in fridge, when they are reheated with a bit of water they aren’t so chewy and a bit nicer to munch on.

These oats are the best at an amazing price! I guess I’m just trusting that they really are organic but I’d rather support a farmer than the store

These rolled oats are very fresh and have an excellent flavor. I bought them for making smoothies, and they blend great! Grown organically, too ; )

This stuff is great. Wish I’d found this farm earlier.
