Galápagos (05213) Terrarium Green Sphagnum Moss, Natural, 4 Quart

The media could not be loaded. Bought this moss cause first off it has more quantity comparing to the ones pet stores around my area carry. Not only is it a perfect amount for my 40 gal zoo med bio active terrarium but I love the texture of it as well!! It is easy to break apart, it really helps when it comes to holding moisture for plants on just tank it self, no mold growth but that’s because I have springtails and isopods to help with that. Anyway I really recommend this product, my ball python appreciates it so much😁

Awesome soil quality and was easy to use, I have it in a hamster cage, no mold grow and no smell. 1 bag would do for whatever. Quantity was 1

The media could not be loaded. We used to have brown moss from the pet store for our gekko, but when it was time to clean the tank, we were in search for something a little more affordable. We found this one and thought we’d try it out, as the price was unbeatable. You get almost twice as much as the pet store for less money. Love the look of the green moss much better than the brown we had before, not that the gekko cares about aesthetics (lol) but I do, and it’s more natural looking. Spreads easy, holds moisture and humidity, doesn’t crumble. Will never go back to the pet store one

I recently revamped my White Throat Monitor's hide habitat and decided to give this moss a try. After a week, I noticed a significant improvement in the humidity levels, which my monitor seemed to appreciate. Just by adding this to my crabitat, changed my 4 Hermit Crabs behavior. I soak it in distilled water, wring out, & added a large amount to my 55 gallon ta k. They love to eat it, gather it, & sleep on it. The moisture it has added to their environment is unreal. I spray the moss down once daily. If your crabs seem sluggish or as if they're sleeping alot BUY THIS!!! They may be missing important nutrients that are held in this moss. BAG IS HUGE as well🦀🐚

Moss was great for what I needed! Holds moisture and is still a nice green color even after at least 2 weeks!

I got this because my ball python was taking longer than normal to shed. He enjoys his new hide with this moss in it!!

Not that great texture is great but it does not keep my geckos hide as humid as it should be
