Country Range Scone Mix - 1x3.5kg

Love this scone mix. So handy to have in the cupboard and very easy and quick to use for either savoury, sweet or plain scones. With the addition of different ingredients you can make a variety of flavours. My favourite are Lemon and Sultana or Cherry Bakewell.

Product arrived on time as described by seller. Good quality product easy to use. Plain scones can taste a little bland but adding some fruit or cheese really helps.

Great easy to use

This is the best way to make scones which turn out well every time. I just followed the instructions on the packet, I added some sultanas. The scones keep well and freeze well too, I would recommend this every time

Very good for the money

Not bad after working out the correct ratio of mix to liquid and oven temperature. I found 7fl ozs liquid was too much and the gas temperature I always use for scones is reg 7. Handy product to have in store cupboard, though I added a little extra sugar to the mix for my plain sweet scones and used freshly grated parmesan to make cheese scones. Maybe it's just me, but I think the mix without additions is flavourless and I tried this brand after using the craigmiller one previously, though the flavour is much the same I got a much better rise in the scones from my previous brand. I suppose the old ways are best and nothing can beat making your own from scratch if you have the time.
