Not Daylight White and Colors NOT Bright
Bought a 4 pack. Not many options for color. The white is the yellowing type not daylight, colors are not bright and doesn’t give u the option of changing brightness of colors. I thought you could combine lights so u dnt have to individually set them, maybe I can’t find the feature. Too bad because I have other Geenie products might have to whole new brand and return these. Don’t want so many apps. If you’re looking for bright colors then stay away. Easy install and set up

Pretty good
If you want a basic white smart bulb, these are pretty good and bright. I use one in a reading lamp and like being able to ask Alexa to turn it on and off. I gave the bulb a name and can simply ask Alexa to turn on that name, and it works. If I want to do more complicated things, I tend to find I have to ask Alexa to ask Geeni to do it. These bulbs don't seem so bright when used in a color mode like full red or green or blue, but the color itself is rich. So it's not a washed out color, just rather a rich color that is not super bright. The Geeni app is not the most intuitive I've ever used, but I managed to set up Scenes or shortcuts that allow me to press one button in the app and dim all lights in a group, or turn them all off or on, or all to a color. And I was able to program the bulbs I put in my deck lights to come on at dark and go off at sunrise. I found the bulbs are much easier to set up if you use a lamp close to your router, then move the bulbs to wherever you plan to use them (after you have them on your home Wifi network). All in all, not a bad value when compared to the expensive Philips Hue bulbs. I've got about 7 or 8 bulbs in total of this type now in use, for maybe 3 to 6 months, and they have proven to be pretty stable for me.

Great for price, buy them!
Update: supposed to go into pairing mode when turned off multiple times rapidly via a light switch. Like I think on-off 3 times. Some of them pair after losing power just once. So if you accidentally turn it off from the switch you're stuck pairing and resetting up the Alexa group if in a group. I'm good with tech and for the sale price it was worth it.Unfortunately, I never experienced this issue and I got my parents who live 3 hrs away set up with echo dots and these bulbs in all the rooms and hallways.Bad news bears... Almost once a month I get a call from my dad ”ones blinking rapidly what do I do?” my dad should remember after the 5th time but alas, no. It's the same 3 bulbs so I finally swapped some of mine for those when I visited. These seem like they have different firmware which is just stupid. Also, when readded the geeni app knows the bulb name already so why not have a more persistent pairing. How often would someone pair the bulb vs accidentally flip the switch for it? It should try pairing for 1-5 mins and then retry the old connectionOrig review:The 2.4 ghz network only for set up does suck. I have to switch networks for the set up but after setup it doesn’t matter. I bought 3 x single packs at Walmart for like $14 a piece. Using the coupon and code, this 4 pk is $21 and change after taxes.... I Love themYes colors are not very bright. Oh well. White is pretty bright. For the sale price, it is 1/2 the cost of any other smart bulb. One tip. You can group them in the Geeni app for easier phone control. Like I have a Japanese style lamp with 3 bulbs. That I grouped into ”livingroom lamp” on the geeni app. However Alexa doesn't read the group from the Geeni app. You have to group them in Alexa separately if you want to voice control groups

3 out of 4
I wanted to try Alexa enabled light bulbs, so I looked around locally and couldn't find any. That's how it is in rural areas sometimes. So, I looked on Amazon and found these. Not crazy expensive, decent reviews... I gave it a shot.First the good - the ones that work work well. I love telling Alexa to turn my lights off, to dim them or to change color - the color change thing is kinda silly from my pov, but Grandson loves it. I like setting the lights to turn on when my alarm goes off, one by one, to help me wake up. They were easy to set up, and got along with Alexa right off, no issues. I haven't had any problems yet with them losing connection and resetting (knocking on wood). Now the bad. One of the bulbs was dead on arrival. I mean dead. No hint that it ever had any life in it at all. It just wouldn't work at all. No flashing, no nothing. I tried everything, did all the trouble shooting (which, there's not a lot to do if you can't even get it to flash). So, I contacted the company and got a very polite email asking a bunch of questions about the product. I answered all the questions and explained the problem. The next day I got a very polite email expressing how sorry they were I was having these problems and asking all the questions again. I responded that the answers to those questions were in the prior email. This went on for a couple days, them basically saying they were so sorry this has happened and asking the same questions over and over.Meanwhile, Grandson found an Alexa bulb locally and bought it. We set it up and it works fine. Then, we had a hurricane and I lost all interest in answering stupid questions over and over. Now I'm at the point of just writing it off as a lesson learned. The truly annoying thing is that in the box with the bulbs was a pamphlet that said if you have any problems don't contact Amazon, contact them instead. Usually when a company does that it's because they really want a chance to make things right. My feeling is that in this case they just wanted to waste my time. Mission accomplished.

Easy to use
These lights are really easy to use with the Geeni apps. Simple to install, just following on screen instruction. I've created a group of lights, useful to turn on all in the same time. Compatible OK Google, work well. Two modes of light, white mode (normal yellowish bulb) and color mode (255 possibility of colors). The only thing is the light is less bright in color mode but it creates a really good ambiance. These lights are Internet connected so you are be able to control them virtually anywhere on earth.

neato
These are so cool! They connect to my google home so I can voice activate them. Only thing that kinda sucks is I have to go in manually if I want to turn them rainbow, but it’s very much a first world problem. Good product and good price considering one of the Phillips hue can be up to 25 Canadian
