Nice, light, quality carabiners; Great seller.
I was looking for some carabiners for camping/backpacking, and these had all of the features I was looking for... lightweight and locking, and the 12kN strength was a bonus! And six items at a good price (in some cases, less $ than others sell a four-pack). Despite one having a minor issue, these feel solid, feather-light, and seem like really good quality.There was a minor issue with the screw-gate on (only) one of the carabiners. I contacted the seller about it, and they promptly responded and resolved the issue! (Thanks Carapeak!)So good quality carabiners at a competitive price, backed by a good seller...hard to go wrong if you're looking for carabiners!

These CARAPEAK 12kN Heavy Duty Small D Shape Aluminum Carabiners works great. they are light, easy to use. they do not snag rope or straps. easy to hook and unhook.UPDATE: 10/7/2019 These Carabiners are strong, I hooked up two straps with a Carabiner holding them together in the middle. I weigh 200 pounds, I jumped on the straps and bounced up and down several times. The Carabiner held together and did not bend or break. Other cheaper carabiners from other sellers failed this test, they bent or broke.

Just what I was looking for. Light, but strong
I bought the set of 4, with 2 diiffernt colors. I am using these for the ends of a Hennesy hammock, so should never be anywhere close to the strength limit of these. Yet, they are nice and light, so not a burden to add to the setup. I wanted 2 different colors so that I could easily differentiate which end is which when hanging it up since the hammock zipper is on one side. Plus I have 2 spares to hang gear from the ridgeline. All for about the same price as others are selling just 2 for.The only thing I would prefer is if the short flat end were longer since my tree straps are 1 1/2" wide, and these are 1 1/4" on that end. But that is a minor thing as the standard way to hang the Hennesy hammock is to tie the ropes through the strap ends multiple times. That scrunches down the ends of the straps much more than they ever would be with these.

Great lightweight and strong biners for general use
I love these smallish & very light carabiners. I've reordered several times. We use to launch kiteboarding kites, and make fast connect boat lines for our ski boat to anchor and tie to trees, etc. Says "not for climbing", but they do have a lower 12kn rating. They are lighter and thinner than climbing biners, so I suspect not enough safety margin for scratches, scrapes, wear, catching a falling load, etc.

Great buy
Love these. The are light weight, priced right, and strong enough to hold a full grown man. I use them from every thing from key ring to hanging my hammock to clipping my spearguns off on my float when not using. They are small enough to keep on your key chain or backpack, but the opening is large enough to easily deploy onto 1/2” rope or thick webbing, and being aluminum and stainless construction, they hold up to the harshest environments even near or in the ocean.

Great carabiners
I have tried similar carabiners for non climbing purposes, and decided to go this time with these ones for the amount and its price, got to say I am pleased with this product.Mainly I use these carabiners for hammocks, camping, and hanging stuff into my pack, as these are rated for 12KN, it will do the job just fine. Would definitively get more in the future as per my demand.,

these have been great. They are a LOT stronger than the cheap ...
So far, these have been great. They are a LOT stronger than the cheap ones at the hardware store...and not much more expensive. I bent several of the cheaper ones using them on my camping hammock...these worked great and showed no signs of flexing at all...they didn't even engage the safety clip with my full weight (160lb). Will be buying more.

12KN biners for hammock suspensions
Love that these are different colors. You can use 1 color for the head and 1 color for the foot of your hammocks to ease installation, or you can use 1 color for a winter hammock, 1 for a summer, and 1 for a shoulder-season. Choices are good. Lightweight and sturdy.
