Bought this for a party, and thought my young daughter and her friends would enjoy it. The girls loved it, but there are some problems.The machine picked up the supplied ducks pretty easily if you don't put many in the machine at once, but it struggled to pick up small toys and sweets I'd bought for it (perhaps due to weight and size). After a number of attempts, I gave up and just put the ducks in as it was becomong too frustrating.As a solution, I put some sticky labels on the bottom of the ducks for a different prize as there's only so many ducks the kids wanted to win! This created an element of surprise which made it more fun.The claw is easy to move around, but the motor makes a bit of a grinding noise if you keep moving right for too long - not sure whether this will have an impact on the longevity of the claw machine. It's also quite lightweight, so tended to move around when the kids were excitedly pulling the levers.I've given it 4 stars on the basis of the reaction of my daughter and her friends.If you only want it for winning ducks (or use the stickly label idea) then I'd recommend it for a fun, novelty item. If you're looking at putting other products in it, you may be disappointed by the effectiveness of the claw and the small number of items you can put in it.

I wanted this as a birthday present as I love these machines in arcades and anywhere I see them, I was delighted with this product when it arrived, it was in a beautiful box, the ducks were in a bag and the grabber was wrapped up securely. I opened up the back and installed the ducks. The cable is not the longest so I had to use a charger in order to play this on a table, the music is loud would be good to have a volume control on this as it’s quite noisy. You have to put the coins provided in the machine in order for this to work. I had a great time playing with this and would recommend it if there was a control on the music that was the only thing that has put me off this product but great fun and so glad I got this.

I ordered this for my 4.5 year old after wasting so much money in the real ones and also her frustration in not winning anything! I must say this product is perfect for the job. It is a piece of cake to assemble. It does require 6 AA batteries as well as a usb connection but it’s pretty easy to operate. My daughter had a good half an hour at it and loved catching the duckies. There are a few drawbacks:1) If you put all the ducks,it’s impossible to catch any! We had to put 2-3 for it to work properly.2) The usb cord is very short hence it’s not easy to play everywhere.Rest,this game is very engaging and not only my 4.5 year old,myself and my partner enjoyed it too!

FANTASTIC. Honestly, the queue of people (adults) on Christmas day was ridiculous - poor kids had to wait their turn. Fantastic piece of kit. Easier if you only put 6 or 7 duckies in there (the duckies, wait for it.....they squeak!!) (I'm easily pleased what can I say?) Also took duckies out and put sweeties in, but the ducks are much more fun. Works off a usb cable so it's plugged in rather than drain batteries. Totally addictive and still on the dining room table for a wee shot at duckie grabbing on daily basis. Couldn't recommend this more (especially for the adults lol)

The grabber was bigger than we thought, it will only pick up light sweets & you can't over fill it or it won't pick anything up. Our Son loves it & tries lots of different things maybe the grabber hands could have been a bit better but its not a biggy. Good value for money, keeps us all entertained :)

My son has a learning disability and is obsessed with watching grab machine videos on YouTube so this seemed a good idea as a present. He loves it. Admittedly he can’t use it ‘properly’ at the moment but it’s fairly easy to use and a great little toy. The only downside is the volume and music control is the same controls you use to grab and sometimes it can be a bit confusing. Great for the price though.

When it arrived I had a play around with this and I wasn't too impressed but.... I took it to a party for 6-8 year olds. I put individual celibrations inside along with the plastic ducks it comes with (the claw can't pick up anything much bigger or heavier). I had a question of kids waiting for a turn or watching for most of the party. It was a real hit.even now my kids play with it at home, finding their own things to put in it.
