Great learning tool for 2 yr old
My daughter loves Noah and the Ark so I found that this toy set perfectly accompanies the theme of the book. I’ve also been looking for more puzzle type toys that provide more strategic thinking and this stacking set sort of fit all the criteria. This toy is marked for ages 2+, which seems appropriate for the most part but can be a bit challenging for a 2 year old to sort on their own right away. On the other hand I can see this being a great toy for a child under 2 as well because of the colors and the animals and the decent size of the Individual pieces. Here are a summary of my thoughts for this toy set:1. Animal stacking is a bit advanced.-my daughter just turned 2 and I feel like this is a tad advanced for her to figure out how to stack which animal on which... main reason being there are 2 different sets of animal stacks and you can’t mix and match. If you end up with a pile of animals all mixed up on the floor (which is the case for us when we play), it can be a bit challenging for a 2 yr old to figure out that there should be 2 different animal stacks.-For this reason, I highly recommend parents to play with their child for this set. What helps us is when I separate animals into 2 piles (per set) or I teach her which animal is supposed to be at the bottom and which is supposed to be on top and she fills inbetween. Another thing I find easier is to flip the pieces faced down on the floor and fit them together like puzzle pieces instead of vertically like a tower because you have to be quite precise to not knock it over if you’re building on carpet.2. Nice design. The colors in this set are lovely and I like that the animals range in size so kids have a reference to birds being small and elephants being big. The animal name and features are printed on front and back so you can stack any which way. It’s also a light hollow plastic so it’s easy to wipe clean.3. Unique animal selection. This set isn’t just farm animals, which I feel like what most books are about. You have land, sea and air animals and even an anteater. The set includes a hippo, tiger, anteater, camel, bird, shark, bear, pig, cat, turtle, fox, whale, alligator and elephant!

Phenomenal
The fact that these are plastic has several perks:1. Great for the bath / water play as well!2. No worries about my mouthy kiddo who can do a number on wooden toys.3. The hollow underside of the rainbow sections, though a little less aesthetic, causes them to make a cool sound when knocked on things. The colors and animals are awsome for additional learning activities, and I have a ton of fun balancing them and goofing around— which can’t be said for some of the other toys my kiddo has that I have to spend long hours interacting with. It’s nice as well that they will be decently easy to take With me when friends and family beg us to visit them and expect my child to sit around quietly, doing and touching nothing.

Cute toy. Great for animal association.
My daughter loves picking out the animals and telling us the noises of each one. I must not have read the description very well because I was expecting wooden instead of plastic but it is still cute. Our only problem is that the animals have a hard time stacking up straight because of where the seam comes together but other than that she loves it.

Plastic set.. better for kids
Very pleased with this brightly colored stacking set! I realize some reviewers are upset that they are not made of wood, but rather plastic. However, I appreciate that they’re non toxic and don’t splinter. They can be played with in water as well! The blocks stack in a variety of ways so my toddler enjoys trying to figure out new configurations. I especially like that they’re the right size for little hands and that they’re not a choking hazard.

Rainbow isn't great for chewing
My rating is brought down from 5 to 3 stars for the rainbow. The rainbow isn't solid all the way thru, it's smooth on the top and ridged underneath (see picture). The ridges hurt my baby's mouth when she tries to chew on them. But they stack and look nice, everything is in good condition and the stacking animals are great. If was just the rainbow I would give it a 2 because it's not a good design for kids who are going to put everything in their mouths.

Made of rigid, hard plastic
This is a brightly colored and highly engaging early learning toy. I was a little surprised that it’s made out of HARD plastic, not foam or flexible plastic- but my granddaughter enjoys it and carries the pieces around with her. It’s quite safe, not sharp or dangerous in any way. The set would make a nice gift.

This stacker toy cut my toddlers knee!!!
I seriously wish I could get a refund this is dangerous and has sharp edges for kids my 2 year old was playing with it and moved to sit down a different way and the bottom part of the stacker cut him!!! He has got cuts from being outside before but I NEVER heard him scream and cry from the pain and the cut is deep. Too late to return so will be throwing away. The rainbow part doesn't even stack properly. Smh!

can you say ADORABLE
I love these colors. They are vibrant, pieces are big so that little hands can grab them nicely and little ones won't be able to stick in their mouth and choke. The animals are so cute, I like the labels- helps kids to learn the names of the animals. Good for problem solving as the children need to find the different pieces to fit the shape. Great toy!
