Spot Sound Masking Speaker

One of my tenants at my office building had an unusual complaint - One of their employees is a "loud talker" but works with sensitive information, to the point where you can hear them clearly in public our lobby through multiple walls. Since they can't seem to muzzle the guy or get him to speak at a normal volume it became a landlord issue.Instead of spending thousands to do something like soundproof the lobby, I looked into white noise generators but didn't want a non-permanent box sitting on the ground plugged in, then I found these, and they work fantastic! I did have to use two of them to cover the space well, and while you can still hear the loudmouth, you can't understand what he's saying! Problem solved!Took my electrician ~30 minutes to install, if even. I have them wired to our occupancy sensors that control the lighting, and they don't seem to mind. Fantastic product, I will be including them in ALL future construction & acquisitions.

This is advertised as a sound masking device. It doesn't mention that it only works in a room the size of a closet.

Much too loud at lowest setting.

I have used these for several years in different medical clinics and like them very much. They work well and mask the sound in the areas where people can hear through walls.
