Dinsmores River Keepnet and Landing Net Combo - Green/Brown, 3.0 m/45 cm

Wasn’t expecting much at this price, very surprised at the quality. Could have paid twice that for a “big” brand.

Bought this as I needed a third keep-net pronto, and this one was the only one i could see on a next day delivery. (Decoy Lakes in Whittlesey rules state in a match three keep nets are required).This keepnet was large enough for a 10lb carp to fit, but i wouldn't like putting anything much bigger in. When it came to weighing in I lifted this net out and in doing so i heard one of the net rings crack, it only had 29lb of fish in! Other nets had bigger weights and had no issues.So while it does hold your fish, it's let down by the fact that it isn't very robust. If you're looking at filling the net with big weights, (and who isn't) then I'd look at another brand. I'll only use this one again as a back up.I like the multi adjust angle but found it hard to undo after.On the plus side, it does dry pretty quickly.As it says, probably a net best used for rivers and silver fish.Not tried the landing net but looks ok for smaller fish based on the above.

On opening I noticed the Shere size of the net, this could hold barbel, carp upto 15lb, the rings are all weighted at the bottoms so the net will sit perfectly in the flow, and will never rise and float. The landing netis lovely, very light and flows threw water very nicely, the stink bag they come in, is of a lower quality, but in my opinion your money is well balanced with this kit. It's that good, that it will be my new yearly river campaigne nets. Great stuff

The net is okay, but the bag is very poor quality and as come apart. My husband as gone back to his old bag!!
