This is what my kitchen switch plate looks like after a year of use. The receptacle plates still look great, but on heavily used light switches, I don't recommend unless you're prepared to replace them frequently or paint them. I started noticing wear after about six months.

Contrary to the sellers description "Unlike cheap plastic wall plates that will crack, scratch and break easily, SleekLighting brings you gang plate covers made with natural bamboo fibers" , these plates are made of regular white plastic covers with a sprayed on (paint?) color. They are not made of bamboo fibers as stated.Also, I bought multiple sizes of these plates (about $80 worth) and the colors are different. Normally not too noticeable until you have a switch plate next to an outlet which then shows the contrasting colors.I was looking for a wood product, but was fooled. These are functional, but they are using plates which can be bought for a dollar each on amazon and then spray painted to meet your color needs.

I was renovating a manufactured home kitchen and needed brown outlets and plates to match the new glass tile back splash and new cabinets. The new brown plates look fantastic!And they match the new backs plash and cabinets PERFECTLY!

I purchased appx. $100 worth of switchplates for my new home - all from same company, all of the same product - except for the outlet design. I ordered single switch plates, double switch plates, etc. The paint is chipping off of the covers. There is not reason for it to be happening and they have only been up appx. 7 months. This is a great disappointment - seller should replace items if chipping when they are so new. Apparently any of the switchplates that are touched regularly start chipping. Big disappointment.

just as nice as more expensive brands well made and nice soft browns..blended with slightly lighter edges...I have 2 other brands that were a good bit more..no better than these..very nice strong. Looks like will hold up.Don't think will scratch easily..all good

Replacement needed for switch and outlet covers for a red cedar paneled rec-room. Value was great and the finishing screws were perfect bronze tone. The architectural relief is a nice touch and the walnut color has a warm semi-gloss finish. Will purchase more when they are available. Very much recommended for the value and coloring.

I am finishing my walk-out basement, and these electrical plates were chosen due to their style/color. All of the hardware in my home is "oil-rubbed bronze," and these plates match beautifully. While they are some type of plastic material, they feel and appear to be made of bronze as well. Could not be more pleased with the appearance, and the price was great!

Description on website said that the plates were made of “bamboo fibers unlike cheap plastic” sadly, they ARE plastic. One of the plates had a paint bubble.However, the color went well with my newly painted walls and I can use the “bubbled” one in the garage so not a big deal. Just not happy that they were painted plastic and scratch easily, so be warned.

Screws are too short. Paint can scratch off if you aren’t careful.
