Love sheamoisture!
I love almost every product Sheamoisture makes and this is no exception. I had used the coconut and hibiscus body wash before but this is a different formula. It doesn't have a very sudsy lather like before but still cleans very well and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. I use this with exfoliating gloves and it leaves my skin super smooth. Good to use during summer since it cleanses gently and hydrates it's great for sunburn and dry skin from chlorine. Smells just like the rest of the coconut and hibiscus line.

Balanced perfection
My skin is so sensitive I’ve had to use baby wash for decades but within the past year have found it to be too drying. My skin doesn’t tolerate most moisture body washes as it creates too much oil. I tried this one on a whim and have been using it for about a month. It feels perfectly balanced. Not too dry, not too oily. If you need more moisture, this may need to be paired with a body oil or other product. My skin feels great after using. The value is reasonable and the ingredients look good overall at first glance. I’m glad I gave it a chance.

My Favorite Body Wash – Hydrated Skin for Days!
This is hands down one of the best body washes I’ve ever used. The scent is light and refreshing—not overpowering—and it lathers up beautifully. A little bit goes a long way, and it spreads easily over the skin. What really sets it apart is how hydrating it is. My skin feels soft, moisturized, and nourished right after I shower—and it still feels that way the next day. I’ve never had a body wash make my skin feel this healthy and smooth. I’ll always keep a bottle of this in my shower—forever a staple!

I like it. Mix with Castile soap if you want more lather.
Back in the day, I used to use the original Shea Moisture frankincense and myrrh body wash. Then they watered it down like most of their body washes, and so I stopped. Decided to try this new one, despite the bad reviews. I actually really like it. I can kind of see what people say about the scent, almost like cough syrup, when I smell it in the bottle. But as soon as I apply it, that goes away for me and I do smell some spiciness, which is what we all liked with the old formulas. It’s not as great, but I enjoy it and it doesn’t put me off at all. I don’t like floral smells, I like herb and more exotic smells, so I’m not sure why some people are getting a floral scent. But I guess everyone’s noses are different. It is very thick, and even though it may not feel like it’s all rinsed off, once I dry off I feel clean and extremely soft. What I do when I want some lather is I combine it with unscented Castile soap- not in the bottle or anything, I just put a small squeeze of each in my hand and it turns into a great lather that’s still moisturizing. Also works great for shaving on its own.I’m not at all happy that it doesn’t have the cruelty free bunny label. I’m waiting to see if that changes. It’s definitely one change I’m not happy about with Unilever, I mean in 2025? Come on guys.

VERY GOOD FOR MY AFRICAN AMERICAN KINGS AND QUEENS
I use this daily and have noticed a big difference in my dry skin. My skin is so soft and has a glow to it now. I get compliments all the time. I am so grateful to find a product specifically for Melanin skin care.

Forever Fave
I typically use the bar soap. Found this liquid version and decided to use it. Love it. It’s value for money and doesn’t leave my body feeling stripped or like there’s a soapy film over my skin like is common with many shower gels. It smells great. I love the gentle exfoliation it provides. The only con I’d say and that’s the same for every black soap I’ve ever used - it stains your sponge and the soap suds build up quicker in your bathroom or at least are more obvious because of the color. So you’d have to wash your bath tub/ shower more regularly than you did before using this soap.Anyways, buy it.

Nice to try
The con: the bottle does not come sealed nor is it full, so you’re never really sure if it’s a new bottle or if it has been tampered with and/or returned. The prose: spelling is intentional - the smell is not strong and it dissipates quickly, which some may find beneficial if they want to do other smells once they get out the shower, which I do.It says moisture can last up to 24 hours, which means it probably won’t and you’ll be lucky if you get that much out of it. However, it does provide a significant amount of moisture with continued use.To improve the feeling of clean, I add baking soda to most of my body washes, and it extended the capability of the soap, which I appreciated.Chances are I will repeat a purchase, it may not be soon though.

Nice body wash - heavily scented
I have sensitive skin and it's on the dry side so I have been searching for a nice body wash that won't dry out my skin. Except for the scent, I do like this body wash. It's a very strong scent. Not particularly unpleasant but it doesn't mix with perfume or other scents you may want to wear. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin and it does moisturize better than most I have used. If I can find a body wash with little to no scent that moisturizes just as well I will be happy.
