I decided to make a move to Mac from windows since I am embedded within the ecosystem. I did not want to give up my Logitech keyboard, trackball or Samsung monitor. I used one of these Usb port converters on the front usb-c for my Logitech dongle and one on the back thunderbolt port to hook up the usb hub on my Samsung monitor. They work perfectly. They appear to be of decent quality and the ports were “tight” when inserted both make and female ends. These are slightly more expensive than some options but there is a coupon available and the ratings are high. In my mind these represent a good value for the money. I tested using one to connect by phone and the phone charges the battery and passed data. I then used one with my iPad with a usb Ethernet adapter and Ethernet to OBD cable and it worked to communicate with my car. You should have no fear buying these.

Small and much needed for newer tech with USB-C ports. EVERYONE will be getting these in the future. But now while they are not expensive. Great, handy gadget!

Looks and works great! Just wish both could be used simultaneously.

They worked great not only for charging my phone but also transferring data when used in my car for Apple CarPlay. They’re a little small so you could definetly lose them if you aren’t careful. Easy solution for that is to always leave it connected to to the usb side or even just the cord itself. They seem sturdy so far.

Recently bought a new MacBook, they now only come with USB-C outlets so I needed an adaptor to use with my older USB-A Drive. These are prefect, small, can leave them plugged in, they work perfectly. Quite reasonable plus come in two-packs so if I need a second plug for another device (unlikely) or lose one (more likely) I will still have one. Very good instant connection, no issues so far.

I have ordered these many times. I like to have them in multiple places on many usb cords. They work very well. I haven't had any problems with anything I have used with these. Good price, too.
