My granddaughter absolutely love the suit it fit her perfectly and made her look elegant it's a good made product

I was worried that it would be cheaply made & be thin material, boy was I wrong. It's solid material, like it's on the thick side so it won't wear easily or rip. I love it! I love that you can adjust the top in 2 different spots. I don't think it's low cut at all for a bathing suit (these aren't skorts to wear out and about, it's a bathing suit to swim in at the pool or beach or even the yard jumping thru the sprinklers).I was in my washer, regular cycle with regular like color clothes & hang dry, I haven't seen any fading in color or bleeding of any kind. When she swims in the pool I will only wash after second use unless she went to the beach I will wash right after. Pool swimming once, hang dry then wear again for beach or pool then I'll wash after second wear. Some things don't need to be washed after every wear. If this is around next season I will most likely order another one bc I love the material and she loves the skort. Unless the price is right at the end of this season I'll order next size up. I'm really amazed by how thick and great the material is.

I got size 12-14 for my 9 year old daughter who normally wears a size 10 because they didn't have her size and she wanted the swimsuit so badly. I figured she could wear it the next 2 summers. The 2 ties on the top make it snug enough for now with a lot of room to grow. Surprisingly the skirt fits her fine, but will stretch enough for her to wear for 3 years. It is very flattering and she feels so pretty in it. There are little removable pads in the chest area. A good modest swimsuit.

I bought a sz 6 based on reviews and it is a little large on my petite 5 year old. I keep expecting the bottoms to fall down showing her Coppertone baby butt! So far so good though. She'll have room for next year too. My only complaint is that it has faded significantly. On the pink skirt ruffles, you can see the difference when you lift a ruffle & look at the part covered by the ruffle just above it. It is definitely faded. We just got our pool set up at the very end of June so it hasn't been exposed to chlorine that long (and we have a salt water pool). I hang it on the line to dry, but I don't think it should be that sun faded already. It's not a huge deal - otherwise the suit is perfect, will fit next year, and is well made with quality fabric (seriously - the thick material makes the bow at the neck & back quite fat!) and is seriously cute!!EDIT 8/21/18: after a full summer it is clear that we will have to get her a new suit next year despite this one still fitting. The material on the top is so chlorine damaged (despite having a salt water system) that I can see through it in places and it feels like tissue. It does not hang the same either. We always hung it on the line to dry (it may have gone in the dryer once or twice but that was not the norm), and she didn't do anything that would have caused the degradation of the fabric. Cute suit but disappointing fabric performance. :(

Call me the typical parent, but in my opinion, bikinis are meant to actually cover your kids private parts. I went through several pages at several stores trying to find an appropriate bathing suit for my daughter without it being an actual wetsuit. I finally came across this and fell in love.I don't know if it's normal or not, but it seems like any kind of bikini cut bottom on my daughter usually ends up getting eaten by her butt crack before it's all said and done. With that being said, my goal was to find a bathing suit/bikini that DID NOT do that. These bottoms are PERFECT! It's a skirt that covers her entire butt (plus some) and has shorts sewn in underneath (with swimsuit material inside) so on the off chance that she cannonballs her bottoms into a wedgie, the skirt still covers.The top is adorable and the straps DO NOT fall off, thanks to the criss cross in the back. Granted, you may have to take it a little slow putting the top on, but well worth it to not have the top slip/fall off. I also appreciate that it covers her stomach (it goes to the top of the bottoms) and has little cinches on the sides in case it needs to be a little longer/shorter.I can't say whether it bleeds in the wash as I have only ever hand washed it, but better to be safe rather than sorry and either hand wash yours or wash it only with dark colors. I also hang dry, so can't speak on the dryer situation.I definitely recommend this as a modest yet pretty option for a bathing suit for a kid.

I got this for my 13 year old daughter when she went to a resort this summer. The colors compliment her skin tone and the fit is just right. However, it came with one padded insert instead of two which is expected. We just removed the one and it's usable. The fuchia colors in the skirt and ties run and stain the white areas.
