Got this for my 3 year old on a sale, saved it for something to do on a rainy day. She loved it. It is so cute, and lights up nicely. We even bought 3 more for her to paint for grandparents and her adult brother. I gave 4 stars because in 2 of the packages the paint was dried up, luckily I had some extra laying around.

I bought six of these for my grandchildren; ages 7, 8, 23 and 24. We had a sleepover. I was so surprised when we opened the boxes. these were great and cheap. they each had two sets of paint for each cat and paint pallets with two brushes each. I would definitely recommend them. They were so inexpensive.

Smaller than I thought

I got the 2 cat set to do with my daughter. She chose laying down cat and I took the upright one.Took us a while to decide how to paint them, but once we did we got started and it was fun because we like to paint.The paints come with a lot of colors. But they're pretty dry, so needed to be mixed with water and then clumps worked out before using.The paints stick nicely to the base but require multiple coats to really cover the white base.Our biggest disappointment came when she decided to see what they looked like with the light turned ON! Shock, horror, sadness.. after all our work they look TERRIBLE as nightlight! The light is a good brightness if you don't care what it actually looks like though. That's why these only got 3 stars from me.

When I spend time with my grandchildren I like to have crafts that we can do together. I like them to be simple, with a few steps and not a million pieces or pages of instructions. I love several things about this globe project.First, like I said it’s simple, just take out the globe and start painting.Next, it provides an opportunity to talk about the solar system. (We used this as a teaching moment) When the child needs to decide what colors to use you can Google all the planets and talk about which one they want to paint.Finally, and perhaps my favorite part, is that this craft has a functional use, it is a great night light. So this craft that my grandson did with me is displayed in his room and used every night. The price is great. It was both an easy and engaging project. I also purchased a different shape (same painting project) from this company for another one of my grandchildren. Both are used as nightlights and both of the kids enjoyed the project.

Bought this for my granddaughter age 6.She loved the whole experience of painting her own little kitty lamp!Paint quality was excellent for the price and there was plenty of it. We painted some of her wooden doll house furniture after the lamp and we still have extra for another activity!The lamp light is not very bright and we are not sure how long the battery will last- but it is pretty neat that it lights up and makes the colors pop! For the price- I think the battery should be easy to change or even have a cord. I recommend for a fast, easy and fun craft activity- but it’s not a “keeper” kind of craft once the battery dies.
