This is an awesome toy!!! My kid loves anything you can build with, but these bristle blocks are so awesome! I love how easy they are for young ones to put together & take apart!! Love them

Updated review—my previous review was after a couple days of having the item. We have sense had them for a couple months. My little one absolutely LOvES these toys. I was hesitant at first with how they weren’t as firm, but I received another set that are firmer than the first but not so firm that the bristles break. We have not had any bristles break and have spent hours upon hours building. They even capture the attention of my teenagers playing with their younger sibling. I have found myself building with them as well. I HIgHlY recommend Bristle Blocks and working with the company has been fantastic. Customer service is above and beyond what I would expect. I’d happily purchase more in the future with how well loved and durable they are.***We just received these a couple days ago. I loved Bristle blocks as a child. These ones are fine but they definitely are not as solid as the ones I had as a kid were. They are more flimsy and don’t stay connected very well. We were able to build the barn but it took a hot minute to get them to stay. It’s a good little set and still fun to play with, just would be nice if they were a bit more sturdy. Overall I’d say 3.5 to 4 stars, closer to 3.5. I don’t hate them enough to return them but most likely wouldn’t buy another set but would hunt for the sturdier kind.

My grandkids, ages 3 and 5, like the hedgehog blocks, because they are colorful and challenging. This, Safari set, is an addition to the hedgehog sets they already have.I wish we could purchase more flat bases for the sets.So far only one small block had some bristles broken off, and they play fairly rough. They've had the majority of the blocks for more than 6 months.

I work with children with autism in ABA. It’s often very difficult to find reinforcing desirable toys, but these keep my clients entertained and me entertained. They’re actually really fun to use.

It really is an excellent product, great for children to expand their imaginations, very colorful, and helpful if you want to teach fine motor skills by manipulating building materials. The toys and “blocks” are pretty sturdy (except for the fence, was a little flimsy) and well made. Perfect for a three year old who is a little more mature and has a good attention span for building or the four and five year old.

If your kids like to be creative put things together to make something wonderful they would do better to use Legos. I found out that my granddaughters aren’t that wild about Lincoln logs and certainly are not wild about this. They were excited when they saw the box and the bright colors in the picture but then it went downhill And they abandoned it after about five minutes. My granddaughters are four, seven, and nine. So my money was wasted.
