This is a complete and total pos. It came apart halfway up the chimney. The connecting rods are to loose and come apart at the connections. Luckily I have access to a man lift, so what should have been a 10 minute job turned into an hour job of tearing the top of the chimney apart. However most of you will not be fortunate enough to have a man lift at your disposal. So for your own sake heed my warning.

The brush does an excellent job of cleaning , I think better that a chimney brush , because you are under power spinning around and you can clean it more or less depending how much time you want to clean each section.The down side of the device is that the release buttons are difficult to get to release . The other downside of this method from cleaning the chimney from the bottom up you GENERAT A TON OF SOOT. it is critical to cover up everything in the room where the stove is located and try to capture as much soot as you can inside of the stove.It is really nice to not have to climb up onto your roof ! I would recommend this device to anyone that does not mind getting dirty and having a large clean up project once you are done. SOOT EVERYWHERE

This drill chimney brush was so easy to assemble and use. The best part about this is that we were able to clean the flue from the inside and didn’t have to climb our steep roof. Only two sweeps and it was cleaned to our satisfaction! I would definitely suggest taping of the fireplace, just enough to get the sweeper up the flue, then have someone hold a shop vac hose inside to catch the dust that doesn’t just drop.

I had a chimney fire last year. Always hated to go up on the roof and clean the chimney. When the men came to install the new chimney liner they told me to get a kit with a power brush and rods to clean from the inside. I removed the stove pipe took it outside and ran the brush though it, that was the cleanest I ever saw in 29 years and in just minutes. I taped plastic over the thimble and cut a slit just large enough to insert the brush head. Inside 30 minutes the chimney was perfectly clean. Very nice product so far.

I was skeptical of it's bending ability. I ran it through my wood burning furnace stove pipe with two almost 90 degree bends without any issue. Then I took it outside where I only have about a foot of clearance for my cleanout and did the rest of the chimney. I wish I had bought this years ago. I highly recommend this product. I used a half inch drill, no idea how it works on a smaller drill.

Bought this being a little Leary about the connections holding up and not coming apart while inside chimney But it performed great with a battery operated drill ! Took the 45 degree angle out of the picture because it slide thru like butter! Held up to the spinning and cleaned my stack like it was new again! I can relax now knowing it is clean for another year of burning

We had a chimney company clean our chimney this fall for $190 and it was clogged up in January. My husband used this chimney brush and we are enjoying a very warm house with our stove working like it used to work. We won't be hiring the chimney cleaner again. Thank you for a great product.
