There were many times where I wanted a tripod for my phone but never had one on hand. I read the specs and purchased this one as I felt it was the best and most reliable one out there. I was skeptical at first, but after a few uses it is amazing. The materials used you can tell that it will last for years and years to come even if you aren't the most careful person in the world. The legs are very stable and fully adjustable to perfection even if the ground is not perfectly level. There is also a level on the tripod to make sure you get the pictures you want every time. The remote is definitely a nice function for other types of pictures where waiting for the right moment is necessary without standing and waiting.As an added bonus, I've used it to watch moves and shows where I don't have to hold up my phone or the need of propping it up against something! Highly recommended product.

The tripod worked well and I used it in various places on my vacation, but I noticed when I was doing my panoramic pictures and other more stationary movements that the pedestal that the camera sits on has a little too much play. You set it to one angle and it wiggles or rocks. I had to hold the handle firm and anticipate the play in the pedestal to get proper video and shots at times. I liked the travel case and attachments, I never got to try out the remote.**UPDATE 11/01/2018** Immediately after my review the company reached out to me and volunteered to replace my tripod with another, their customer service was great and attentive, and I appreciated their offer to try and rectify the issue. I gave them an additional star for the stellar customer service and replacement, I agree still with various other owners who posted reviews it is not "heavy duty" for a tripod but for the price, what you get features, its portability, and the companies customer service and communications I think it is a good buy for the amateur photographer.

While the tripod itself is okay and functions as expected, the smartphone adapter that came with it is pure garbage. It broke the very first time I took it out of the box and tried to put my phone into it to use it.EDIT: I have added a star to this review after being contacted by the seller who offered to replace the entire tripod at no extra cost due to the issues I was having with the smartphone adapter. They were lighting fast getting the replacement shipped out to me and were very courteous and helpful through email in trying to resolve the issues I was having. The replacement tripod arrived in perfect condition and in working order. I do still think they need to work on replacing the smartphone adapter with something a little more heavy duty, but other than that I am very satisfied in how my issues were resolved. I would recommend this seller on customer service, they were great.

Not everything arrived. No remote or cell hold holder in the box at all! That was the only reason I purchase this product to use with a cell phone. Seller sent a new one out with all the pieces. New item works great. Only 4 stars as it was a Christmas present and I had to get it replaced.

It's a nice item. Mine came in a box with everything in individual plastic bags. The "instructions" was a list of the specs of the item with no instructions. The instructions paper for the remote control was small & hard to read, but luckily it's pretty easy to use. The remote works great & comes w/ battery. Not sure what some of the extra parts are for. Too tight a fit for an iphone 8 with a (basic) case on it & definitely too small for an iphone 7 plus. Recommend offering a different attachment that will be wide enough for larger phones.

I was torn as to how the Paladinz Phone Tripod should be rated. It is nothing an even amateur photographer would put up with. All joints are a little loose. The leg sections are a little loose and wobbly. None of the rotary joints move smoothly, including the pan motion. The phone bracket almost does not open wide enough for my basic iPhone 8 -- the plastic case MUST be removed. I can't believe that this will stand up to a lot of careless handling, or be something you hand down to your heirs.All that being said... it was 16 bucks, dude. For occasional use, it's fine. With the legs retracted, it's a little better than fine.If you're going to use your phone to make YouTube videos in a serious manor, you gotta spend more money.

Great angles and very cool remote. I have a Samsung note and it fits great. The remote was very easy to connect. It uses Bluetooth. What more could you want!
