Great piece of photography kit

The device does exactly what it is supposed to. It's well built and works well although the remote is a bit cheap and nasty.However the power supply cable is ludicrous. It is so short! You have to run an extension to the device.I've had to buy another power supply from RS because the supplied unit is unworkable. It's so short you'll end up with the power supply expansion in your display. Anyone buying this device should factor in the extra cost of doing this.

Superb quality. Large turntable.

I bought this in the hope I could use it in a spray booth when spraying round items. As it said it can hold 100kg I thought I'd try it, I stood on it (I weigh 75kg) but it struggled to turn then released the smoke from the adapter. I can't believe these are advertised to hold so much weight, they must have so many returned.

Returned first Rotating Display Stand within thirty minutes of delivery.First attempt at using the item it revolved for half a revolution then stopped. Smoke started bellowing from AC Adaptor, then a loud `Pop` disabled the unit permanently.Received a second unit within 24 hours (great service by Amazon) and to date it is working as expected, although I would never leave the Power Supply on and unattended.The Rotating Display stand is very good, no stuttering on the clockwise movement but very slight stuttering at commencement of anti-clockwise movement. Hopefully this will be eliminated once the unit has been `run-in`.Yes there is an audible noise but it's not as loud as I expected (after all it is motorized)The remote control is very responsive and together with the main unit makes it very capable for photographic and video display.Anyway, for my purpose as a videographer it was worth the money. However, in terms of quality of the item, maybe it's a little overpriced.

Excellent product

I bought this to put my Christmas tree on as I wanted everyone to see the whole tree and it was a bit of a show stopper so I’m really pleased m grinch tree spun the night away

Absolutely love it the only one little suggestion would be it to have the option of spinning faster that it actually does on its fastest setting, apart from that super cool to have bought this.

Seems to work well and can handle heavy weight (eg. 200lbs).

My first one came broken, crushed in fact, so I contacted the seller who sent a replacement immediately. However I took a peek inside the broken one to find it isn't as robust as one would think if you were to put 330 pounds on it. I'd say half of that would probably be more realistic for long term survivability. For my needs it won't ever have more than a few pounds, so it isn't a problem. The movement is nice and smooth and is relatively quiet. The remote works well and has some handy features. I do wish it had a single revolution option but the return to home setting is a definite plus.I am using it to capture 360 degree images for our product website. To do this I set up the product in a 32" light box on the turn table. I got a shutter controller for my camera and set it to take 25 photos in the 50 seconds it takes to do a full revolution. So far it works like a dream.Good product, good responsive company, would be a 5 star if it was built a little better on the inside. Buy with confidence if your product isn't super heavy.
