Retrospec iSUP Intelligent Dual Stage Electric Pump for Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards - 12 Volt DC Car Connector Pump w/Pressure Value LCD Screen & Flex-Hose - Portable & Compact

Last year we purchased two SUPs. By the time we were getting on the water, I definitely felt like I'd already had my workout. But, no one wants to sweat on the beach when we could instead be paddling on the water. So, I purchased this pump. I set the pressure to 12.5 PSI and let it go. I"m using a home-built battery box (stepping an 18v down to 12v with a buckstep converter) with a 10AMP fuse) so I'm able to pump it on the beach instead of in the parking lot. The pump has a low pressure mode that inflates the SUP to the point of a full body and then the high pressure pump kicks in and gets the SUP to pressure. The high pressure mode is loud but bearable.The pump completed the first SUP in about 10min. I let the pump cool while I rolled the second SUP out and started in on it. Yep, another 10min and we were ready for water. I didn't detect any overheating. The pump didn't nudge my battery meter from four bars and I could have pumped several more (would recommend cooling between each). We have Body Glove 11' SUPs and the stock hose nib fit perfectly. The hose itself is sturdy and has a very solid pump-side, threaded connection. The SUP connector is permanent so you can't really replace it easily. I also found that our son's low pressure inflatable kayak pump hose would fit easily onto the end of our pump hose. So, we used our pump to deflate his kayak and then used it to deflate both of our SUPs. It is super fast at deflation and seriously gets out all of the air. I think we actually were able to pack the SUPs back into their backpacks with close to the original fit. Time will tell on longevity, but I'm hoping for the best! 100% recommend at this point.

Update:I tried another pump (2x the price) and ran into the same problems as I had with this one. So, I’ve updated my review and instead now blame my SUP for the problem.—Original review:I have a Retrospect SUP that I bought this for ... despite being the same brands, I cannot lock this hose into my board. I have gotten it up to 12PSI through sheer will and tired hands of holding the hose in place. I tried all 3 gaskets that came with it.Seems nice otherwise but obviously very disappointed. I didn’t bring an alternative pump with me on this trip so it’s quite disappointing.

From the description of the item, I was expecting for this to perform faster than the hand pump to get our SUP pumped up. However, I hand pumped my board (6" bigger than my wife's) while the electric pump pumped hers up and I beat it by 3 minutes, and I was pumping at a pretty casual pace... certainly not rushing. We still use the electric pump because it's nice not to be exhausted from pumping once we get on the water, but I wish it was as fast as the description makes it seem

Got this for my Serenelife paddleboard. Tried it for the first time and it worked perfect with my paddleboard! Was so happy! Was very easy to use and it inflated a lot faster than I expected, probably faster or just about the same as with my manual pump..but I could only ever get to about 8psi with my manual pump before I gave up. Hoping that it will be durable over time because I never want to have to sweat over the manual again. I'll save the working out for paddling.

Works as promised seems pretty quiet. I use it to pump paddleboards and other inflatable boats. Has 2 stages. Stops at set pressure limit. Nice looking and handle switches work well.

Worked great! I have a 9ft hydroforce stand up paddleboard .. this makes my life so much easier ! Took 6 min to inflate to 15 PSI

Seems to be the exact same pump sold under other brand names but this one costs a lot less money! No fancy box and no extra tips that you'll probably never use. It works as advertised and the air gauge is accurate. It comes with 3 different hose seals. Make sure you're using the right seal for whatever your inflating or you'll think it isn't working right.
