Didn't actually fit my bike, but after some work with a drill it works perfect

Broke the original after biting the dust one time to many. Wish it was made from chromoly steel. Will probably break again because of my weight and my riding style but it's holding up as good as the original.

I read a post about someone traveling out of town and broke their hanger. None of the bike shops had one in stock. Kinda ruins your trip unless you end up renting a bike. Cheap insurance

Two issues, one functional, one cosmetic.The cosmetic: the original on the bike and the one shown in the photo were black. The item I received was bare metal. Doesn't affect performance and looks okay.The functional: one of the holes was threaded very poorly. It was easier to completely retap it than to try to get a replacement. Now that the hole is properly threaded the piece functions well.

They application was straight forward and very easy. A child could do this literally. I wonder though about how long this will last from what I have read. This was a repair for my son MTB. He rides like he stole it. So we will see.

Quality built. Nicer than stock. Make sure you note how your derailleur hanger mounts to the frame. I had to return because I bought the right hanger, wrong mount.
