The product was nothing like I expected! The lower section of the rod resembled a pool cue, but the tip was approximately the diameter of a toothpick. I planned to stick the rod in my suitcase for a travel rod but it does not suit my needs at all. During my 70 years I’ve fished for everything from bluegills to 200# halibut, but there nothing I’ve fished for that I would consider this rod a good match for.

Very disapointed. Should have known better based on how cheap it was but this rod is junk. The tip of the rod is literally tooth pick thin and I imagine it will break after the first use. I will test it out none the less but I'm not expecting it to work well. Very poor fit and finish, ridiculously thin and feels like it has almost no flex to it so it will probably snap on the first fish.

This was perfect for what I wanted to put under the seat of the motorcycle. They are stiff but I still have had good luck trout fishing in north GA. I have fished 50 years and thought man this thing is stiff. I have not had any issues we have two and have put fish on the bank with both of them. I would buy again and it is so nice to have a rod on the motorcycle. We have had fresh trout two times while exploring the mtns. I have fished yearly for 40 plus years and can not believe I have not owned one of these before now.I thought it was a toy or a gimmick I was wrong I am careful putting them away a great product for anyone traveling with limited space.

Very fast action and I mean very stiff with little parabolic bend. That said, it has a perfect place for my fishing needs for ocean stripers and freshwater bass in thick cover. Would work well for any large fish within reason. Sensitive carbon construction. Can feel lure action thru the rod. I bought two 4'2" for fly fishing tight streams in the Sierra Mountains. Can control 3wt line for role casting perfectly. Purist fly fishers are having a coronary right now..........but I'm catching trout that my 9ft fly rods can't reach. Have 3 of them now. I recommend based on quality, application, and convenience.

i bought this for my wife but it is a little long and heavy.let me say that when i got the pole i was very impressed. this pole feels very well made and you will be impressed also,no this isnt a paid commercial ,just do not get such quality very often now a days.i give this product 5 stars,even the pkg is cool

I like this telescopic fishing rod. It has great feel and it collapses to a size that it fits in my tackle box. It is quality made and should last for many years. I chose the 6.8ft as it would be better for deep lake fishing and bigger fish.

To heavy, bad balance of the rod. It also has sharp cut outs in the reel seat. The thickness of the handle it uncomfortable to hold, you would need large hands just to hold it. Will check out Kastking, Daiwa, or Plisano instead.

Just received. Haven't used it yet but it looks and feels great! Seems high quality. I have a variety of reels, havent decided what one I want to partner with it yet. I can't wait to try it out! Very impressed so far. Great addition to the camp bag. Thinking about buying a bunch more to give out as various gifts throughout the year (birthdays, christmas). At $12 bucks why not!
