Great pen. Love the shuttle on it.
I have this pen in my everyday carry. Writing on this pen is a very pleasant experience. It's really smooth. I didn't think I would notice as its a pen and I just wanted a nasa pen 😂. It was tough to also spend more then $10 for a pen but I am glad I did. But they just tells you where I am from. The cap is used as part of the pen so when you get it it may look small but once you cap the bottom to write. It's really comfortable. I would recommend it as a nice gift.

A Beautiful and Functional Pen
Based on the picture, I thought the shuttle might just be a decal, but it isn't. It's a gold-colored relief mounted on the side of the pen. This made a nice addition to my pen collection.

Great idea for a pocket pen.
I had always wanted a compact pen with no sharp edges to carry in my pants pocket, and this pen fits that bill perfectly. I ordered this pen August 25, 2011 and have carried it all over the world with me. As promised, it writes on almost anything, but I have not tested it in zero gravity. I prefer a medium point blue ink cartridge, and have yet to use up the original ink cartridge. I had ordered extra ink cartridges from Fisher in blue.FYI, if you're interested: The Fisher Space Pen writes so well that I ordered Fisher "Space Pen" refills that fit my Cross & Parker style pens. They are available in all the colors including silver, which surprised me. Bought them directly from Fisher for $5 each in 20012.

I brought a bunch of space pens to India as presents for my host family. Because they are made in America and write upside down they make a fun novelty gift for traveling but are elegant enough to give to anyone.

Love these pens
I love this bullet pens. I carry it around in my pocket and always have a pen handy. When it is in my pocket it doesn't poke or get in the way. It also writes beautifully.

The 1 to buy.
This is the new design. I have bought a lot of these pens over the years and this has the screw in end which doesn't come apart like the pressed ones. It's hard to tell which model you are buying but i suspect all the ones with the shuttle are the new design.

But overpriced for the money, buy as a collectible.
Good writing, but it doesn't write at any angle, and the space ship on the pen cap already fell off with moderate usage.
