This IR Flashlight does EXACTLY what it was designed to do!
Product arrived quickly, and in excellent condition, exactly as advertised. I have read comments on other IR light sources which complain about not being able to tell if they are working, dimness of the beam even if the reviewer knows enough to check whether it is working using a digital camera, and the fact that it does still emit a "red glow", and I would like to address/dispel these comments based on my experience with this product. First, this flashlight works exactly as advertised. You MUST use a digital camera to verify that it is working, since the beam is invisible to the human eye, again, as advertised. Even in fully lighted rooms, you can see, using the digital camera, the spot the beam produces if you hold it close to a wall or other surface, and if you shine the light directly at the camera, you see a bright flash. In full darkness, the beam did not appear to light up the room from what I could see with the digital camera on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, and this is what I suspect leads other commenters to conclude that the beam is dim. However, what you must keep in mind is that digital cameras come with built in IR filters which would obviously reduce the amount of IR light the camera is able to "see", making the beam appear dimmer than expected, despite the fact that it is likely functioning properly. I have not dismantled the camera on my phone to remove the IR filter, and I do not own actual night vision goggles, so I can't say for sure that the beam is significantly brighter when viewed with an un-IR filtered camera, but I am pretty sure that it would be significantly brighter. Lastly, in regards to the "red glow", the LED for this product does appear black/dark when off and "red" when on, however it DOES NOT produce a "red glow" in the same way that even a dim/small visible light LED does. I think this point of confusion comes down to us not really having words in English to adequately express what IR LED's look like when on. The red color you see when it is on is much more like the color than a stove top coil takes on as it heats up, just before it becomes "red hot". You can see a stove coil turn red before it heats up to max, and that subtle change in color is what you actually see when the LED is on. Further, while you can see it turn red, you really have to be looking directly at it AND know what you are looking for to even notice the change. The average person, with no idea that it is an IR flashlight, would have no idea that it was on. Even someone who knew it was an IR flashlight, but didn't know what to expect, or wasn't looking directly at it, probably would not notice that it was on, either. In other words, this product does exactly what it was designed to do. The only limitations are with respect to the end user and their ability to recognize/determine that this product is in fact doing exactly what it was designed to do.

I think some of these bad reviews are from people that think it's a flash light. Well it is a light on the infrared spectrum. This means it can't be seen by the naked eye. It is used with night vision equipment. I use it to hunt hogs and it works well. I know for fact it will light up an area to 300 yards at least because that's where I shot my last hogs. It works well with my sightmark photon. Great price and ships fast. You want to buy more expensive lights go ahead. This is all I need. Thanks

100 yards with ease
I’v Got 2 1/2 acres, and just bought some night vision goggles, gen 1-2 quality with color capability. This lights the night up for the goggles, and I get a clear view of what’s out in my yard, and beyond.

For the price. Its great.
I love all the extra accessories it comes with. I just mainly bought it for the IR flashlight so it is a PLUS for me! The light does reach kinda far. Idk if as advertised but its kinda far for me. I can view the light in the dark with my smartphone/android, Galaxy S9+. About 2 feet though.. but I am sure it is because the phone has a IR filter on it's camera. But anyways.. Worth buying! I recommenddddddd!

Meets my expectations.
Received everything as advertised and on time. Meets my expectations for providing IR lighting for taking night time pictures/videos at 100 feet or less.

Works Great!
I used it over the weekend to add coverage for my night vision camcorder and it worked very well. I was able to get much better coverage than the little that comes with the camcorder. I was very happy with all that came with it for the price.

Very bright but noticable
This is a very bright light, by far the brightest IR light I've every used. Up close, the red glow is very noticeable though.

excellent IR lights that add a greater distance to the distance my camera can see at night. Not only that, but as I turn the lights on, I can see the grain (noise) in the viewfinder clear up and give a better visual and video.....well worth well addition
