Slim Credit Card Wallet by Modern Carry - Ultra Thin

Ordered "Slim Credit Card Wallet by Modern Carry - Ultra Thin", sold by Modern Carry, and fulfilled by Amazon. This item was described as being constructed from "4 WAY STRETCH PERFORMANCE FABRIC", which is why I purchased it. A leather card holder arrived, which was distinctly non-stretch, and also reeked of chemicals. Not only that, but a sticker/bar-code on the packaging clearly identifying the item as a Leather Card Holder, had been overlaid by another sticker/bar-code identifying the item as a "Slim Credit Card Wallet by Modern Carry". Sigh. It will be returned, which is just a hassle and a waste of my time. Modern Carry; just get your act together and I'll be happy to buy your products, but this ineptitude is frustrating. Purchase with caution.

Too flimsy. The material is very thin, the seams are not straight, and it is likely that this will wear out very soon. If the material was thicker I would give this a solid 4 stars. After 1 week, the wallet has stretched and no longer holds cards.

Was never a wallet guy due to the bulge it makes so my credit cards and license were getting rather tattered.Figured I would give this product a try and I absolutely love it. It has a silky smooth exterior so it does notpull up other things in your pocket, when you remove it, like some cell phone cases tend to do. It easily holds 4 cards and I suppose you could even fold and place a few dollar bills in it, if your so inclined. Best of all, it's really no larger then your credit card itself.

Ultimately I love both options, but the single slot was the 1st i bought and after about a year when it started tearing, I came back to it's page to buy it again, saw there was now a 4slots option and decide to try it out.I wouldn't recommend the 4 slots. It does it's job, but the separator adds some unnecessary bulkiness, and as soon as i transferred my cards from the single to the 4 slots, the glue holding both sides together started to give out.-2 stars for the 4 slots version. Single slot is the one you want. Gonna last about a year but i guess that s good enough for the price.

I bought this to replace an old similar slim wallet that was purchased locally. That one I had used for a couple years and it was coming apart at the seams, I had used crazy glue to hold it together...that's how much I liked having a card holder that tightly held my credit cards, drivers licence, gift cards together without the bulk of a wallet. When I saw this one on Amazon, I bought it without hesitation. I love it! Works as well as my old one, looks better (no crazy glue stains!) My old one had 2 pockets, which I really liked and personally would have preferred. This one has 4 which took a bit of time to get used to, I carry 18 cards in it. Overall, very happy with my purchase!

Nice product and seems to be well made. Arrived quickly and looks exactly as pictured. Used it for the first 2-3 days, but the cards kept edging their way out of the holder throughout the day. Maybe it was too many cards? I bought the single pocket design and I had about 6-8 cards in there. Wish there was a silicone lining around the top lip or something to grip against the cards. Overall, the product didn’t really serve its purpose, and in less than week, I’m already shopping for something else.

I've carried a rubber-banded clump of a few credit cards and cash for years in my front pocket, and have been dissappointed with 'slim' wallets (still too big around the edges) ... until now. This company has taken the critique of their elastic-only wallet and made a great one: this version with four pockets and a stiff middle card built in ($18.99 when I bought it 11/2016).I carry four regular plastic cards (license, work ID, credit cards), four paper type cards (insurance, voters registration) and a few bills. The cards all fit nicely to the bottom of the wallet (unlike leather slim ones), they come out easily (unlike the two pieces of plastic/carbon fiber with a rubber band version), and would hold even one card securely (unlike money clips).Exactly what I was looking for. The price was on the higher end for an elastic slim wallet, but I was impressed with the thoughtful construction when I had it in hand. Plus, I'm not about to sew, glue or manufacture this myself, so $20 was worth it to have more securely held cards and cash.

This wasn't right for me, but it might be right for you, so I can't give it a negative review because I didn't think it through before purchasing. The pocket is very well made and does hold credit cards beautifully, but it won't hold anything *larger* than that - which is something I needed it to do. The item is just stretchy enough to keep a firm hold on credit cards - which is what one needs for credit cards. (It takes practice to get out just one card at a time, in fact.)
