These are really nice deep soup/pudding/cereal bowls in a fine porcelain which looks far more expensive. I very warily tried them in the dishwasher first... perfect. Then even more warily , expecting a bang, in the microwave, but perfect. I use them for making my microwave porridge every morning now. I reach for one of these as they look so elegant and they are deep enough for porridge not to boil over (previous problem!) Thank you. I may buy some matching dinner service for this Christmas coming

On hindsight I wished I had bought the larger size. Excellent bowls which can be utilised for many purposes.Pasta, Soup, etc. Perfect also for buffet displays.
