Would not work for my application
Unfortunately had to return and purcase a much more expensive disconnect because the wires from my main panel were too short to land in the box.NO, I never considered adding pigtails with wire nuts to make this work.

One glaring flaw
Breaker is a monster. So much so that the black tabs holding it are not sufficient for it. I received one unit with both uppers broken off and the breaker was missing. Got another and in a warm climate and being careful I broke one black tab off. I highly recommend putting a dab of dielectric grease on the plastic and connecting tabs. This is a set it and forget it box. If you plan to be in and out of it on occasion, pick another one.

Perfect for my spa install.
You have to run some big wire out to this box to handle the amperage but the 2 branch circuits make it worth it. This will be a cleaner run overall.

A little cramped inside but a great panel that's easy to install
Except for being a little cramped if you have service coming in from bottom left of the panel box, it is a great panel to work with. There are very few that support branch circuits along with the SPA. This one will actually support 2 branch circuits!!!
