In 1986, while backpacking through Europe I went to Istanbul and had the joy of having hundreds of little glasses apple tea everywhere I went. Served from elaborate trays carried through the market with amazing skill, it was wonderful hospitality. I hoped this tea would be similar to what I remember from 35 years ago, and it is. Very delicious, apple, faint sweet fig and a wee bit smoky. Excellent hot or cold.

Not a fan of licorice, was unaware it had it, bought it to try it based on the great reviews. You may like it if you like licorice.

Expected authentic tea made and sold from Germany...disappointing

you gotta let it steep for five or so minutes but i was hoping for more apple flavor

Tea bags in both boxes has something spilled or sprayed on them. See brown spots on individual packages. The boxes were fine. It appears the tea bags or wrappers may have gotten universally wet causing the wrappers and tea bags to stick to each other. None of the teabags in either box were usable and this is a "non-returnable" product.
