EXPOSED Don't buy VAINCRE before you read this !
My colleague and I bought all the full face masks available and reviewed each of them.I have the task responsibility to find full face masks to introduce and educate hundreds of young people of Florida to the underwater world.Could not only rely on reviews for such an important choice. After my colleague and I tested all 13 full face mask found on Amazon, all of them except the EasyBreath or the Mares make you re breathe some of your expelled air because of core design flaw.Because of low quality standards, I found plastic residue in almost all the masks (check photo)8 of the brands (seaview 180°, segmart, vaincre, jogoo, ocean view, easy snorkel, octobermoon and fnova) sell the exact same model, all coming from the same chinese factory, with the same piece of instruction and obviously, the same flaws.I found it difficult to contact the sellers as almost none have a website, are all located in China (except one).None of them appear to have any history or expertise in snorkeling and sporting goods.Who would I turn to in case of a problem ?Review of model n°2068(G) (One review for all 8 brands because they are all the same mask…)Pros :1-It’s cheap, between $50 and $20 cheaper than the Tribord Easybreath, dangerously cheap..Cons :1-IT MAKES YOU RE-BREATHE YOUR EXPELLED AIRThe channel for expelled air is only separated from the inhale channel by a thin, moving layer of rubber (check video), so when you press your face against it, the layer moves and let some CO2 get in your breathing area. This can cause CO2 poisoning, I invite you to check the symptoms on wikipedia, nobody wants that. I found some reviews on the seaview and others saying people felt dizzy and lightheaded, just found the scientific explanation.2-IT EXPOSES YOU TO POLYCARBONATES RESIDUESMost of the masks came in with plastic residues in them, the worse was the Easy snorkel (check photo). Most of the residues are located in the breathing area, this is an absolute NO GO for me, I don’t even understand how they can be sold in the US with the poorest ever Chinese quality standards. Even more when you are supposed to breathe through it in water.3-IT FOGSFor the same reason you breathe your own CO2, the mask fogs. With the dysfunctional air channel, the humid expelled air gets back on the lens and make it fog.4-WATER COULD COME IN THE SNORKELThe “Vaincre” brand (same model M2068G) came with a broken dry top system, the little ball was split in half, if it happens when you in the water you will be breathing water. This is reported on many other reviews of the Seaview, Segmart and Vaincre (did not check the other’s reviews, too tired of seeing always the same stuff)Jigga_drs on July the 10th had the exact same surprise with the Segmart.5-CAMERA MOUNT TOO HIGHThe least important flaw, the camera mount is too high to take good shots in my opinion, it gets the camera above water too often and requires that you tilt your head to keep it submerged. The camera flow is of course not critical however the 4 other flaws are serious safety concerns

Leaks and fogs, but great customer service.
This mask underperformed for me, which as why I rated it 2 out of 5 stars. I ordered the L/XL size. It formed a decent seal around my face even with a short beard, but I did notice slight leaking from the bottom and the top of the mask. The leaking can usually be blown out of the mask with a large, forceful exhale or by surfacing and emptying the mask. The mask advertises "anti-fog", but I had a large amount of fogging when I used this mask. The fog may have been from my mask never forming a great seal around the bridge of my nose, no matter how I adjusted it. So, I made sure to buy and then use an anti-fogging agent before every use. Unfortunately, that was only a temporary fix that lasts maybe 20 minutes. In the end, I rented a normal snorkel mask set from a local shop here in Kona, HI to fully enjoy myself while out snorkeling. I wouldn't recommend this particular mask to anyone, because I plan to throw it in the trash. A waste of $60 in my opinion. I won't knock all full face snorkel masks, because my brother-in-law paid a bit extra and bought the Tribord EasyBreath, and he seamed to have better results with that.*****EDIT*****With in 24 hours of this post, Savi from Vaincre contacted me concerned about my dissatisfaction regarding their product. Savi was extremely helpful in trying to solve the problems that I had encountered with the mask, even going as far as sending me different size mask. I declined due to the fact that I don't plan on snorkeling again for a quite a long time. I was impressed with the prompt response time and genuine concern that Savi exhibited. If you do buy this mask and aren't satisfied, Savi will provide great customer service and help get you the desired results from their product.

A great snorkel experience for the whole family!
I bought 4 of these for my trip to Maui, one for each of my family members. I have a thick goatee and typically don't shave during vacation and thought I would try this out as the traditional snorkel gear doesn't work for me without lots of leaking, even with Vaseline. This mask exceeded my expectations on this front. My two young children (8 and 11) loved these masks as well, just be sure to get the straps tight enough and be sure to teach them how to deal with any water that does come in the mask - "stay calm, pull your face out of the water and breath out through your mouth to force the water out of the lower valve near the chin". The reason I gave this mask 4 stars is because the masks are bulky (hard to pack in luggage and tote to/from beach and pool) and the plastic is thin in places which caused one of ours to break and be unusable. For $40, I would strongly recommend this mask to a friend.Usage observations:- The flat view will cause you to see things out of the corner of your vision that will make you think things are closer than they actually are - i.e. other snorkelers.- I tried the GoPro mount and thought I had it aimed appropriately, but ended up with video that was either looking across just under the water surface or out of the water. It may be possible to mount better, but I prefer a float/stick mount.- The mask makes you more buoyant than a traditional mask. This is great if you just want to float on the surface and a real plus for kids, they barely need to tread water. It does make diving more difficult and be prepared for a considerable amount of pressure on your face while going down.- The water trap in the snorkel works well, not once did any of us get excessive water into the mask from this path.- I read other reviews about fogging, the only time I had a fogging issue was when I had my head out of the water for a few minutes helping one of the kids. As soon as I went back to snorkeling, the fog went away and stayed away. I've been reviewing my GoPro video and I believe that the live viewing from the mask was way better than any of the 4K video.
