I ended up finding out they have longer lights so I am returning these but these lights are very stylish and the warm white is pretty bright specifically at night. The material used is very flexible and thin which can be used to make whatever type of design you'd like. Think of it as a paperclip - unfold the paperclip and make your own shape but instead these lights are much more easier to bend and twist than a paperclip.Only one con that I think of are that these ones are reliant on a (3) AA battery pack and it's a noticeable eye sore. So if you're looking to hang it somewhere make sure you find a good spot where you can hide the battery pack. However, on the contrary they are portable so these would work definitely be better for design, going camping, etc.

This coil of lights arrived in a little brown box that fit in my palm. I opened it, figured out how to open the battery compartment (don't try to force it open--the lid slides off), added three AA batteries, and flipped on the switch. Wow!!! The minute I saw the effect of the lights on the silver wire, I was in love. These are bright but not so much it hurts your eyes, and the lights are cool to the touch. The versatility of such an item is endless. The first thing I did was wrap them around me--made me feel like a little kid. I can see using these for crafts, parties, safety lights at night, and just for general cheerfulness, which they have provided me in abundance.As a bonus, Qualizzi sends you a link to a PDF book called "Decorating With String Lights," a 47-page long illustrated, delightfully written, in-depth and very detailed instruction manual on how to use your lights in myriad ways. I very much enjoyed reading this! I discovered that Qualizzi lights come in other colors, which I plan to buy. As gifts or party favors, I'm sure they would be a huge hit. Children especially would love these, and the safety factor (non-electric and cool) is very appealing. Buy and enjoy!

This arrived in a 2.5" X 3.5" tiny box. I opened it up and it was a frail strand of wire with a battery box bigger than the whole light set. What I thought would be nice strand of lights like I would buy around Christmas turned out to be an unimpressive ball of wire.

Pretty lights. The lights are very bright for how small they are. It's festive and romantic if you wrap it around a wine bottle or something, but it's not something I would keep on for too long.

I love these little lites. They are little 'blisters' along a very thin wire. It seems quite delicate, but so far they have responded well to being moved about. I have tried them in various colored glass containers. They are incredibly bright, so they need a very dark colored glass to shine through, otherwise you just see white lites. The battery pack is very heavy and it's been a challenge to hide it where it can be easily turned on and off. Qualizzi Products, how about some button batteries??? I have enjoyed hearing how others use the lites. Love all the things you can do with them. I plan to use them, when the power goes out, in a mason jar.

When I first put the batteries in, these lights looked great. However, within a couple days they began to fade drastically from how bright they were originally. Now you can barely see them with the lights in the room off at night. Don't know if I just got a bad set or what.

I love the idea that these tiny lights do not need any electrical outlet, and they run off battery power.We have a couple trees in the house we like to run lights around, for atmosphere in the evenings. The problem is, the trees then, had to be near an outlet, not allowing up to design our room as we would like to.Now, with the Starry Lights mini, we can put our plants anywhere.Also, since these run by battery power, we have a lot of new ideas where to put them, once we feel confident they will last.These really look amazing and I am very happy with the product.

Lights are on a wire which was disappointing. The are bright, but need 3 double a batteries. The case that holds the batteries broke the first day I got it, cheap.
